Preserving Cornwallis History, One Photo at a Time
We welcome all former members of HMCS/CFB Cornwallis to submit photos for our museum archives and the Cornwallis Alumni Space on ReigniteSocial. To maintain a clear, high‑quality historical record, all submissions must follow the guidelines below.
Required Information
Every photo submission must include:
- Full Name (as it appeared during service)
- Course Number (e.g., Platoon/Division/Recruit Course)
- Year of Training or Service
This information ensures proper cataloging and helps fellow alumni identify people and timelines accurately.
Photo Quality Standards
To preserve the integrity of our archives, we require clear, high‑resolution images.
Acceptable Photos
- Original printed photos scanned with a flatbed scanner
- Digital photos taken with a camera (not a phone)
- High‑resolution digital copies from personal archives
Not Accepted
- Photos taken with an iPhone or other mobile phone
- Photos with glare, shadows, blur, or reflections
- Photos cropped too tightly or missing faces/details
How to Submit
You may submit your photos through:

- Please ensure all submissions include your name and course number.
What Happens After Submission
- Photos are reviewed for clarity and historical accuracy.
- Accepted photos are added to the Cornwallis Museum Archives.
- Selected images may be featured in displays, digital galleries, or alumni posts.
