My late husband Bob Klassen went through Cornwallis in 1977 before I met him; possibly 7738, 7739 or 7741. I’ve attached two photos. In the graduation photo he is in the centre of the back row. In the other photo he is in the back row, far right. Kirk Keller and Joe Lafreniere (not sure of spelling) were in his course. His barracks were on the beach side of the Base. I recall him mentioning Sgt D. F. Luxton and Mcpl McQueen. Odella Klassen

This was an all Combat Arms course which ran in the Spring of 1977. We had metal cleats (clickers) fastened to our combat boots so our platoon could be heard marching around camp. Our accommodations were the old navy barracks of which we had to first clean up then polish and shine everything from hardwood floors to copper pipes in the shower room.😆
I have posted my graduation certificate on a number of fb sites over the years and each time I receive plenty of feedback about the course number being incorrect? Could you please advise if and why this course number was assigned?
As you see Pte Splint front and centre is wearing Combats as he was so tall they didn’t have CF dress to fit him.
Sincerely,
Eric Blair
